Right before the Holidays Yahoo sent me $100 to use to conduct one simple act of kindness and encourage others to do the same.
I know my giving $20 to random strangers might have seemed pretty random, but I really wanted to put a smile on someone’s face in the locations I was at. I’ve already donated a lot of money to my various favorite charities throughout the year, so I just wanted to do something a little different and make a random stranger happy
Here is one of my kindness ripples that I updated for charity : water: http://kindness.yahoo.com/15Ak-xO/15At-rX
Go to that link and update it with something kind that you’ve done lately
If you haven’t done anything.. well, maybe now is a good time to start.
Here were a few suggestions from Yahoo on some things that you could do:
? Make dinner for a family
? Babysit for someone
? Volunteer at your local kitchen for the homeless
? Play with the animals at the Humane Society
? Pay the tool booth for the person behind you
? Pay the taxi fare for a stranger
? Make cookies for your neighbor
Looking forward to seeing what kind things you guys have done! xoxo
i think that keshas spof “tik tok” was the best video of the year!!!
I too thinkg Antoine Dodson video was greatest of 2010
My favorite video would have to be……wait…….wait!……. Chick on trike!
for the past few christmases my friends and I have gone to the 99 cent store and bought $20 worth of little holiday gifts there and we would drive to a parking lot and wait for the person to leave their car and put a little gift on their car for them (the one we thought theyd like best based solely on their car and what they looked like haha) and we run back to the car and wait for them to come back (we did this at CVS’s etc so we didnt have to wait long) it is so fun
